The Pabst Theater was built in the late 1800’s by brewing magnate Captain Frederick Pabst. Designed by architect Otto Strack in the tradition of the great European opera houses, its opulent Baroque interior includes an Austrian crystal chandelier, a staircase crafted from white Italian Carrara marble, and a proscenium arch — highlighted in gold leaf — framing the stage. 

Today, The Pabst Theater is the centerpiece of Milwaukee’s downtown theater district...a magnificent example of architecture of another time and era that serves performers and audiences of the 21st century as it did at the turn of the 20th century.

In House Event Manager
The Event Manager manages the logistical aspects of your event, including vendor recommendations, event staffing, vendor drop off and pick up, and coordinating with our In House graphics team for event signage needs.

On-Site Technical Director
Our Tech Director will help set up and oversee all AV needs for the duration of your rental, including the facilitation of any equipment rentals, to ensure everything runs smoothly. An In House stage crew will be provided to administer In House sound and lighting operations.

On-Site Usher Staff
Our Event Ushers will greet guests upon arrival and direct patrons to the box office, bathrooms, and seating areas.

Connected Underground Parking
Paid, public parking is available in the Milwaukee Center below the theater complex.
